Exhale & Find Joy: Pura Vida

A yoga retreat with Jen Campbell and Shelly Sheppick
Saturday, October 24-31, 2026 | Blue Osa Yoga Retreat and Spa, Costa Rica

Join Jen and Shelly for an unforgettable experience to pause, replenish, and step away from your daily rhythm and responsibilities.

Come listen to the ocean’s edge.  Quiet yourself amongst the sounds of birds and monkeys.  Find your center anew in the jungle, on your yoga mat, with friends from near and far, new and old.  Join in daily yoga practices, beach walks, silent mornings and healthy food.  Enjoy hiking to waterfalls through the rainforest.  Can you feel the inner tide shifting?

Meet your hosts

Jen Campbell

Jen Campbell:  I’m a seeker and a teacher.  I’m a lover of dance and poetry.  I’m a wife and mother.  I’m deeply curious about bodies and the souls that inhabit them.  I’ve been teaching Yoga for over 15 years, Pilates for 30 years, and dance and movement even longer(!)

I endeavor to infuse each practice with presence, clear guidance, a bit of humor and an honesty that is relatable to everyone in the room.  I have cultivated an intimate understanding of the human body – with a degree in dance, Pilates certification, Yoga teacher training, and now in Somatic Experiencing training, I continue to explore, encourage and educate.

Shelly Sheppick

Shelly Sheppick has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, initially seeking it out as a way to manage her work related stress. She quickly noticed herself leaving her yoga sessions feeling more grounded, calm, and empowered, and also began to notice the physical benefits of more toned muscles, flexibility and strength.  She found herself resonating with yogic philosophy and its tenets on how to approach one's life.

Now guiding others through a yoga practice truly brings her joy.  Her offerings include hatha/slow flow blend, moderate power vinyasa flow, hatha style recovery for athletes, yoga to support addiction recovery (Y12SR) and specialty classes for private groups as well as individual sessions.

Traveling to Blue Osa

  • You will fly into San Jose, Costa Rica.  From San Jose, we recommend taking a domestic flight via Sansa Airlines to Puerto Jimenez (approx 45 minutes.)  The Blue Osa shuttle will pick you up for the 20 minute drive to the property.

As part of Blue Osa Travels' commitment to us, they have already blocked out many seats on Sansa Airlines on the day of our arrival. Once you’ve registered you’ll have access to Blue Osa Travel’s exclusive assistance to confirm your seats from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez.

  • There is also the option to take a shared shuttle service ($200, 5-6 hours), or a private shuttle ($450, 5-6 hours) directly from San Jose. Blue Osa will  provide detailed directions and can arrange all transportation. The journey is part of the adventure!

No. However, we always suggest speaking with your Doctor and referring to the World Health Organization’s website before traveling.
